Emergency Alert System

In an effort to alert residents and businesses of emergency situations, the Municipality of North Cowichan has implemented an automated emergency alert system. This system will notify you by email or telephone of the nature of the emergency and where to obtain more information. For notification to be effective, we need to know the best way to reach you. Please think about the following questions as you make your decision:

  • Would you receive an email or telephone call first?
  • If you choose email, will you register your email address at home, or at work?
  • If you choose to be contacted by telephone, will you register your cell phone number, home phone number, or work phone number?

Once you have decided, registration is quick and easy! You can enter your contact information in the form below. You are encouraged to choose email as your preferred method of contact because messages can be sent much quicker by email than by telephone.
